I’ve done some demos using OpenGL and the awesome toolkit GLUT.
A simple program, where the user can change RGB values in the bars and the background will change to the corresponding RGB value.
In this game we change the balls inside the transparent box in order to make 3 in a row of the same color. This simple game have some cool features, like, the selection box rotates, the balls have specular reflections of a rotating light in scene and the balls inside the selection box will shrink and expand in a animation loop.

Vector image sources have some neat advantages like lossless zooming and upscaling capabilities.
The character now in vector image instead of common raster graphics.
A goth girl…
And the next upgrade to our “hero”. 🙂
Other stuff I made in 2D
And the background I made for a flash game prototype. It had bills flying from the right side (a simple particle system) to picture the toon guy trying to catch them.
At some stage of my life I wanted to create the Portuguese video-game hero (because we have none to date). I pictured this stereotypical middle-aged guy, grumpy, with a beard or mustache, sports team shirt, etc. Enjoy.
This though guy gets a remake afterwards…
Some scenery added…
And he starts running. 🙂
